This tire right here is bad

I walked out of work last night to find my read drivers-side tire flat. I have been having problems with this tire for a good year now and I have avoided getting it repaired, but this was the last straw. The tire had a bulge and it was splitting and I had run it into the ground and I had to replace it. So I drove to Budget Tire on White Bear Ave and stood in line where that had this sign “Compare our prices to our competitors” and it listed the tire cost and installation cost of several other stores in the area and then the total cost of four tires with installation. In most cases Budget Tire was cheaper with the exception of Fleet Farm which was a few bucks cheaper per tire, plus a few bucks cheaper for installation. I want to stress that those were the only two variables in the equation, tire cost and installation cost, Fleet Farm was cheaper on both, yet somehow more expensive for total cost for four tires and installation! Now that is some kind of magic.

I talked to the guy about my tire. They had installed new rear tires for me a year and a half ago so he was able to look up that receipt which was cool. Then we went out and looked at the tire and he said “This tire right here is bad” and I’m thinking to myself ‘That’s why I’m here j-hole’. So I finally got a new tire and I finally put away my little cigarette lighter tire pump.

I really need to go back there and get a picture of that sign.
