It’s a very C.H.U.D. Thanksgiving

The most amazing thing happened yesterday.  We were watching The Simpsons and it was the New York episode where Barney loses Homers car next to the World Trade Center after a two month long bender.  Well, Homer is complaining about how much he hates New York and he specifically how he hates the pimps and the C.H.U.D. So I explained to Lindsay that C.H.U.D. was a terrible ’80s horror film and C.H.U.D. stood for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers (or Contaminated Hazardous Underground Disposal), then I explained that good C.H.U.D. jokes don’t come around very often.

Just about an hour later we were watching Pushing Daises (a very good show) and the main characters were searching through the sewer for a suspect and Chuck (the main female character) made a C.H.U.D. joke!  Can you believe it?  Two C.H.U.D. jokes in one day!?!?!  And within an hour of one another.  It is a rare event indeed.
