School, work, house and other stuff
I haven’t blogged awhile, have you noticed? But I have had some stuff going on. My manager is retiring which has gotten me thinking about my future and I’m pretty sure I don’t want to spend too many more years as a personal banker, unfortunately I don’t know how to do much else. Thus the next stage of my life will include school because I know what I want to do, but I don’t know how to do it.
This is the first time I have been excited about going to school because this is the first time that I have a pretty clear vision of what I actually want to do with my life and that is to be a Web Developer with PHP and MySQL. It so happens that Rassmussen College has a pretty cool program for Web Development and they also have a campus pretty close to my house.
Speaking of the house, we now have a new roof and siding.
And in other news, my buddy Doctor Popular has started what I hope to be a regular video blog, check it out.

Movie Trailer Review, Episode 17
We went and saw Dan In Real Life the other night. I did enjoy the movie, it was a lot like the film The Family Stone except it was actually good. I saw two new trailers.
Mad Money
Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes rob the federal reserve. Directed by Callie Khouri who wrote the screenplay for Divine Secret of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, and Thelma & Louise and she appears to be one of only two female directors in Hollywood. It looks like it could be a pretty good movie, but I probably won’t see it.
Vantage Point
Based on the trailer I’m not exactly sure what the plot of this movie is. It seems like the United States government fakes a presidential assassination for some reason except that eight people are recording the event and the government is worried that if the eight people got together they could put the clues together. A bunch of people are in the movie which is directed by some guy and written by some other guy. With the exception of Forest Whitaker this film doesn’t seem to be worth my time.
