I know that I have not blogged in awhile, and that’s because blogging is sooo 2007.  But you know what?  I’m bringing it back for 2008.  I willing to be that one lone blogger looking like a fool before the fad catches on and then everyone will remember Schalicto as the blogger who brought it back.

I got Rock Band for Christmas from Lindsay’s parents.  How freaking cool is that?  It’s almost like they want me to fail at college or something.  Even though I have only played Guitar Hero very briefly I still found the Easy Guitar Solo Tour to be a waste of my time.  The day after we got the game we had all of our friends over to play it and people started complaining that the down-strum didn’t work right… soon after that the up-strum stopped functioning correctly as well.  It turns out that we got a guitar affected by a known production issue and EA sent us a new guitar 2^nd day air.  The new guitar is rocking hard and I’m almost all the way though the Medium Guitar Solo Tour.

The writers strike continues with no progress.  Leno, Letterman, Stewart and Colbert are back on the air.  Leno had a monolog and the WGA is suing him for it because he is a guild member and was paid to write the monolog… or something.

I had my first night of class last night.  Monday night is “Success Strategies” and Wednesday night is “Intro to HTML”.  This Monday night class is a joke; do you want to know what we did last night?  We made motivational posters.  However, something very weird happened last night, I was walking through the halls on break I heard the voice of a teacher… and I was thinking “holy crap, could it be?” A few minutes later that class went on break and I peaked my head in and sure enough it was Corey Quick, my Comp 1 and 2 teacher from Century (Comp 2 being a completely embarrassing failure for me). 

That brings us to today.  Work hasn’t been the best, we got a new manager and a new district manager and both of them expect a lot more out of us than their previous counterparts.  I think I’ll be looking to make a move soon.
